PROJECT SUPERVISION

1.- PROCUREMENT STAGE:
Inspection of materials, components and equipment, control of certificates of materials, components and equipment, certification of weld quality tests, audit of all technical and quality documents submitted by suppliers and manufacturers, etc.
2.- CONSTRUCTION STAGE:
Supplier audit, manufacturing supervision, certification of components, pre-shipment inspections and expediting, delivery inspection, site supervision, progress monitoring, compliance with drawing details and project technical specification during construction, preparation of comissioning for all safety-relevant and performance-critical components of the plant or project.
Qualification of Welding Procedures and Certification of Welders according to characteristics of materials and types and design of welded joints, Non-destructive testing (Radiography, Ultrasonic test, Magnetic Particles, Dye Penetrant, etc).
Specialized Ship construction Radiography plan, to verify quality of welded joints in components, blocks, blocks welded joints, etc.
Inspection of all radiograph films, control of quality of radiographs or ultrasonic testing, review of NDT Reports, etc.
Destructive Testing (Tensile, Impact, Bending, Hardness, Macrography, etc.) Quality assurance. Program specially designed for the types of welded joints and materials needed for your project.
Inspection of workmanship and welding quality and compliance with drawing details at the different workshops and subcontractors building parts of the structure.
We have also plenty experience in the subject of surveys and certification carried out by government offices, classification societies, maritime administrations, port authorities, and the documents concerned. We can audit their job for you.
Due to all this experience we can give you the right advice at the right moment. You can obtain all our knowledge and experience to your convenience.
For example: We can advise you if a steel proposed by some supplier is not acceptable, due to lack of charpy or tensile test, or assess you in the preparation of welding procedure quality reports and tests needed (tensile, bending, charpy, hardness), according to the welded connections to be performed on site during the project or repair. We
can also detect any component, equipment or machinery which is not complying with the specification.
Revision of certificates and ancillary documents, plus inspection carried out and certified by TECHNIKONSULT at different stages of the construction project or repair, will be a great help in order to achieve correct compliance with the applicable specification and standards, and therefore assure the highest quality.
3.- SERVICE STAGE:
Inspection and Certification, according to applicable standards and manufacturer’s recommendations.
Verification of safe operating conditions of ships, cranes, elevators, equipment, machinery, etc. Inspections and certification aimed at assuring quality, safeguarding the safety of people and the protection of the environment.
4. INVESTIGATION OF ACCIDENTS:
Study and analysis of failures of materials, components, equipment, machinery, etc.
Technical investigation of accidents in ships, cranes, lifts, steam power plant, generators, machinery and equipment in general.
Study of deficiencies in structures, welded joints, etc.
Our engineers can produce for you an expert report, establishing the causes and negligences that produced the accident or failure, as well as the lack of adequate technical regulation by the competent authorities.
5. TEST OF MATERIALS AND/OR WELDING TESTS:
Chemical Analysis, Metallographic Analysis, indicating metallurgical phases present and thermal treatment, Fractography (Fracture Analysis), Macrography and Hardness of welded joints, Tensile Test, Impact Test (Charpy) at the temperature indicated by the applicable standard, Hardness Test, Bending Test, etc. According to international standards.
